Bold black and white photographic, offset poster. The intense stare of Filippi evokes malevolence yet his formal pose suggests a mediation between action and stillness. Sostituzione translates as substitution. Publisher Giancarlo Politi later went on to be editor and publisher of international art magazine, Flash Art.
