Ein Energieunternehmen (An Energy Company)

Hans-Peter Feldmann

Artists' Books
21 × 29.5 × 1 cm

The photo shoot for this book took place between autumn 1996 and spring 1997 in and around the energy supply company EVN. It is a photo essay on the production and distribution of energy in Lower Austria, and a document of the assets of the electricity company. Charged with romanticism and nostalgia, the story reads as an epic tale of the Transformation of Nature into “culture,” through the work of the people.
