Four volumes boxed 21 × 15cm., paper 1997, contains full page b/w erotic, playful, and often noble portraits of the artist and his dates. Viewing this book is like peering into the personal diary of a complete stranger. Hotel 1, is constructed of full page colour photos on card. Transient moments of an hot tryst unfold in the luxurious suite of a European five-star hotel. Q.:And Babies?, contains page after page of b/w nudes of infant boys. His uninhibited models know how to act out. Alternately pensive, playful, menacing and simply content much like their adult conterparts in Herrmann’s other photos. Texts, includes five short essays concerned with each book in the set, and an interview with the artist. Boxed set of four books.
