As with Doyle’s single Beaver Chip piece, this work is a whole bowl of them; a fired brown clay goblet-shaped bowl filled with the long, thick wood shavings produced by beavers as they chew through a tree trunk (or at least faithful human-made replicas of them) one of which is marked by a ceramic tag affixed to it with pink cord as being ‘LUCKY’.
