A recording of abstract drumming to be superimposed on the music of “Wu-Tang Forever” (1997). It draws upon the original for energy, rhythm and other information. In this way, “On Wu-Tang Forever” (2007) is presented as a musical work which follows in the same tradition as ancient commentaries of philosophy. Mazinani’s performance functions as a translation of listening.
