Graphic design, sound poetry and experimental comics are jaggedly blended into a new hybrid literary form: in Angry Black Bang, speech bubbles and thought clouds — the mechanisms that are used to expressed language in comic narratives: ‘talking’ and ‘thinking’ made visible — are repurposed and reanimated, anthropomorphized in a series of violent, kinetic page works.
