Jose Luis Lugo Hernández, owner of Panther Publishing in Mexico City, has amassed a sizeable collection of flyers of the disco sound system movement since it’s beginnings in Mexico in the 1980s. The standard for the flyer and poster design of the sound systems movement was set by Jaime Ruelas, an independent graphic designer from Mexico City, who drew many of the 300 pieces selected from the collection to be featured here.
