5 Tableaux (It Bounces Back) considers the eponymous performance and installation by Chloë Lum & Yannick Desranleau presented at the Or Gallery (2016) and La Fonderie Darling (2015).
The book brings together essays by curators Joni Low and Anne-Marie St-Jean Aubre and includes a conversation with the artists on performativity, labour, material agency and decay, and the deeper personal and political underpinnings of their engagements with entropy and colour.
Designed by Eli Bornowsky in an edition of 150, with silkscreened paper and colour and b&w photographs from the performance.
