Migration moves us to new places — geographically, emotionally, relationally. There is always somewhere new to discover, something to leave behind. Human is an animal disposed toward movement. The tragedy is that we cannot always move as we please — and when we do move, it’s not often our choice. This set of postcards, created by the artist for the 2024 Toronto Biennial of Art, raises timely questions on the acts of migration and movement while serving as a link between sender and recipient over space and time.
