Nannucci has been featured several times in the Venice Biennale, Documenta in Kassel, and the biennials of São Paulo, Sydney, Istanbul, and Valencia. His work has been featured in over 400 museum and gallery exhibitions, and is included in several important museum collections internationally, including Museum of Modern Art, New York; Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; Paul Getty Art Center, Los Angeles, and Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice.

A long-time collaborator of Art Metropole, Nannucci has produced several editions, publications, and exhibitions with AM over many decades. He has also founded several publishing houses, such as Exempla, Recorthings, and Zona Archives Edizioni, as well as the not-profit art spaces Zona and Base / Progetti per l’arte.
