The aluminum-bound limited edition print edition of League Play Book serves both as documentation of the League Nanaimo exhibition and Germaine Koh’s ongoing League project focused on play as a creative practice, and as a workbook to inspire more invention. It includes short essays by artists, athletes and players sharing insight into the mechanics of creativity in their disciplines; a section of case studies based on the dozen-plus years of League; and exercise sheets.
Editor and project initiator Germaine Koh (b. 1967, George Town, Malaysia) is an artist-organizer and faculty at University of British Columbia, in Vancouver BC, Canada.
