These 2” pins were made and given to attendees of the Grand Opening of “Toronto’s First Pigeon Park” designed and hosted by Tümmler Studio. The term “persistent feeder” is an accidentally kinky-sounding neologism from the pigeon control industry that refers to the handful of people in every urban neighborhood who have developed a relationship with the local pigeon population through repeated feeding (despite being warned!). The work on the whole imagines a future for Toronto where pigeons aren’t demonized by municipal policy, but integrated into the built environment through specialized architecture.
