when to critique a trans woman: a helpful guide is Samantha Kruger’s timely and tongue-in-cheek zine which involves the reader in examining why trans women are so often targets of harassment campaigns from (so-called) progressive-minded individuals.
Inspired by quizzes in teen magazines from the 00s, and a rich history of trans zine publishing, Kruger’s zine is part guide for, and part criticism of, non trans women who seek to criticise trans women for all of their human mistakes.
