Massimo and Pierce, the core duo behind Zurich-based audio/performance art collective Black Sun Productions, blur the lines of sex and ritual performance. With common backgrounds as sex workers, the Black Sun boys bring a distictive candidness to their work, and Toilet Chant is no exception. This extremely rare CD-R release, limited to 99 copies-each certified with a thumb-print in shit, sold out as advance orders due to the untimely death of Coil member Jhonn Balance, whose vocal performance on Toilet Chant track “E2 = Tree 3” is among his last recordings.
