Description

Dense graphics from anonymous street posters in Paris during the May 1968 revolt are reappropriated by Birnbaum to create rich images that connote protest and dissemination. Some twenty-five years after the student revolts in Paris, Birnbaum takes these images and re-sizes and sequences them into another order. An order of seeming unrest yet highly aesthetic. The prints are in deep black and pearl silver.
