Description

This book, dedicated to the Italian artist Maurizio Nannucci, presents the exhibition dedicated to the work he began in 1967 on writing, color and light. For him, “written with neon allows foremost to the thoughts and words light, give them color conducive to the imagination.” Writing as a standalone image setting is constantly changing as linguistic, conceptual and perceptual aspects. Thus, his installation work in neon text provides a quality of both plastic and light, highlighted by the monumentality of the central room which was given to the Museum of Modern Art of Saint-Etienne, offering a new as wall installation impressive, unprecedented dimensions and produced for the occasion.
