Periodico was established in 2016 by Marc Asekhame and Teo Schifferli as an independent publication series which is based on the magazine format and appropriates its aspects. Periodico is interested in the magazine format as an alternative to other distribution and exhibition practices which distinguishes itself in periodicity, quality and immediacy.
