“One Day One Day” is two books in one, approached from either side. It goes back to the concept of two exhibitions by Carsten Häller held at Muse d’art Contemporain, Marseille, and Färgfabriken, Stockholm: Two large installations – Phi Wall Light and Wall – were in daily interaction. There were two invitation cards sent for two openings, two press releases published, and two websites (each a work of their own). Both installations were based, despite their different appearances, on the same phenomena – certain frequencies caused by flashing lights. Issues dealt with in the dual nature of “One Day One Day” include consciousness/unconsciousness and uncertainty. Text by Jan Anam & Nathalie Ergino.
