From Toronto-based Standard Form, this mini disc features the work of Martin Clarke. These field recordings were made in Shetland in December 2006 and draw their inspiration from the music and recordings of Australian sound artist Alan Lamb. Martin Clarke is a sound artist and filmmaker based in London, UK. His work makes extensive use of real-world, environmental material to create semi-abstract non-representational spaces.
